Online play is possible using ZPlet, which is Z-machine compatible, i.e., the format for Inform interactive fiction games. Java is required to be present and enabled on your computer. Games are interpreted through a java applet. It should work on most browsers. |

Here is an excellent how-to guide for the player new to IF. In addition, you could start out with Nine Points, A Demonstration of an Interactive Fiction Game, by Robert Janelle and Brad O'Donnell. I highly recommend this game to learn how to play interactive fiction games! |
